Why I Chose Claude as My Main Tool
I’ve tried most of the major AI writing tools. ChatGPT, Jasper, Canva AI — I use all of them for different things. But Claude is the one I come back to for writing.
The reason is simple: Claude produces the most natural-sounding English I’ve found from any AI. It doesn’t feel robotic. It doesn’t repeat itself. And it takes direction really well — if I tell it to write in a specific tone or style, it actually does it.
My Daily Blogging Workflow with Claude
Step 1: Brainstorm Post Ideas
When I’m planning new content, I ask Claude to help me brainstorm. I give it context about my blog — the niche, the audience, the type of content that performs well — and ask for post ideas.
It consistently comes up with angles I wouldn’t have thought of myself.
Step 2: Build the Outline
Once I have a topic, I ask Claude to create a detailed outline. I include the target keyword, the intended audience, and any specific points I want to cover.
The outline usually needs minor tweaks, but it gives me a solid structure to work from in minutes.
Step 3: Write the First Draft
I write section by section, not all at once. I give Claude the outline and ask it to write one section at a time, with specific instructions on tone and length.
This keeps the content focused and makes editing much easier.
Step 4: Edit and Refine
After the draft is done, I go back through and add my personal perspective — experiences, opinions, specific details that only I would know. Then I use Claude to tighten up any sections that feel too long or unclear.
Step 5: Generate Meta Description and Title Options
Before publishing, I ask Claude for a few title variations and a meta description. It saves time and often gives me better options than I’d come up with alone.
Specific Ways I Use Claude for This Blog
Research summaries — I paste in long articles or documents and ask Claude to summarize the key points.
Rewriting for clarity — If a paragraph isn’t working, I paste it in and ask Claude to rewrite it more clearly or concisely.
Headline testing — I ask Claude to generate 5–10 headline options and pick the one that feels most natural and compelling.
FAQ sections — I ask Claude to generate common questions readers might have about a topic, then answer them together.
Internal linking suggestions — I describe my existing posts and ask Claude to suggest where I should add internal links.
What Claude Can’t Do
Claude can’t replace your judgment or your voice. It doesn’t know your audience the way you do, and it can’t replicate your personal experiences.
The best results come when you treat Claude as a skilled collaborator — not a replacement for your own thinking.
Also worth noting: Claude doesn’t browse the web by default, so for current news or real-time data, I switch to ChatGPT.
Is Claude Worth It for Bloggers?
Absolutely. The free plan is surprisingly capable and a great starting point. If you’re blogging seriously, Claude Pro at $20/month is one of the best investments you can make in your workflow.
I use it every single day, and it’s directly responsible for how quickly I’ve been able to grow this blog.
